Tex[t]-Mex: Seductive Hallucinations of the "Mexican" in America, I made up this concept, a mouthful, called "xicanosmosis." It's a fancy word (my other job is as a cultural studies professor) used to denote the seepage, the transfer, the exchange of cultures, the osmosis of nations, that occurs between the U.S. and Mexico.
